Black Soil Covenant opens with a strange, luminous spark— flaring like pale light cutting through dense undergrowth. The brightness fades quickly into the deep, feral hush of the forest. Mushroom and earth rise like the breath of the ground itself, cool, mineral-rich, and ancient.

A tangle of moss and soil-covered roots follows, dark and dripping, carrying the quiet rot and renewal of places untouched by daylight. It is a scent pulled straight from the underworld of the woods—haunting, grounded, and reverent.
