Chapel Dust opens with the cold quiet of an empty church—stone, stillness, and the echo of footsteps long gone. Sage and moss rise softly from the corners, herbal and green, like forgotten offerings left to dry beneath stained-glass light.

A breath of balsam and old books drifts through the air, warm and papery, mingling with the solemn curl of frankincense and smoke. There is a metallic glint of metal, faint but sharp, reminiscent of candleholders and iron hinges. Then, unexpectedly, a trace of lilac perfume ghosts across the composition—delicate, floral, and haunting, as if someone once stood here in prayer.
